Theft from Motor Vehicles in Meltham

We have received reports of thefts from motor vehicles in the Meltham area over the weekend and would like to remind everyone to take extra precautions to protect their vehicles and belongings.

Please ensure that:

Vehicle doors are locked, even when parked on your driveway.

All windows and sunroofs are fully closed.

Valuables, bags, wallets, mobile phones and tools are removed from vehicles or kept out of sight.

Keys are kept secure inside your home and away from doors and windows.

Any suspicious activity is reported to the police.

We are also concerned that some incidents may not have been reported. If your vehicle has been entered, searched, or items have been stolen, please report it to us. Even if the loss is minor, the information helps us build a better picture of what is happening, identify crime patterns and direct patrols to the areas most affected.
